BACKGROUND

To celebrate the release of "At Least We Can Dance" on Vinyl (out Feb 8th 2010 at all good music record stores), we teamed up with Doshiwa Records and Dekata Project artist and all round legend Harvey James. Harvey had previously posted the artwork for the Dekata Project "Viral EP" and "At Least We Can Dance" covers on his blog, and much to our surprise the art community started posting up their own pictures inspired by these works. This became known as "Black Lion Week" and you can see a couple of the original works that were the inspiration from our artwork here:

THE VIRAL EPAT LEAST WE CAN DANCE

So we decided to extend this idea and challenged the art community to come up with comic strips based around these characters, the little black lions, with the option of the theme of "At Least We Can Dance". The winner will receive a WAPPING GBP100! The results will be posted below, there are 5 runners up and 1 outright winner, which will be announced one a day up to the release date! For more on the release visit www.dekataproject.com

Enjoy them, and if you want to say hello, pop by our facebook page: www.facebook.com/dekataproject
