I hooked up with Dekata Project favourites Sam Peach and Lucy Harvey, photographer and stylist respectively, in the studio and on location in East London. The results will be out soon, but here are some shots I took during the day to give you some insight…

Thought I’d share this, went for a wonder before a jazz gig at the Dorchester last week and found the world’s most disco piano, it’s covered in mirror bits just like a glitter ball. Incredible. If only we could use this on Thurday.

Bit of randomness: a while ago Sam and Jay (bass in live band) did a photo shoot, and then forgot about it.

Then… whilst up in Manchester working with Zed Bias, Sam had some time to kill and so popped into town. Lo and behold, there he was on a poster outside Pizza Express. No free pizzas though…

Apparently our beautiful mugs are appearing in any restaurant that has live jazz across the UK. Embrace the randomness! Have you seen us in your town?!

Just a reminder: the EP is currently only available in physical CD form, the reason being it’s a beautiful limited edition thing you can cherish forever…

We’re not sure you have enough ways to connect with us yet.

Thus, we are now on Last FM, please come and say hello:

We were out at Gilles Peterson’s 10 year Radio 1 anniversary last night, followed by the after party hidden in the depths of Shoreditch. QTip was the main act at the roundhouse, and then jumped on the decks later on at the club. It was his first gig in London for 14 years, and was killing.

Many Dekata Project EPs were being chucked around, if you got one, say hello and join the family. Look out for yourself on the pics below.

It is with a tear in our collective eye that we can confirm full web handover from our old name, Pack Of Six. Otherwise known as “Sam Sharp And His Pack Of Six”, The “Isn’t Sam Great Band”, “Sack Of Pigs”, and other versions too filthy for blog broadcast.

Thanks for everyone for the 3/4 years of support under that name, but the tear of sadness has turned to one of immense joy at the new legend of Dekata Project. Pack Of Six may return in the future, but consider this a full carbonite hibernation for the mean time.

WE NEED YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER, OH LOYAL FANS!!
